About the Rotate image

Handytool's image rotator rotates and flips photos by 90° steps or at any custom angle. Fix a sideways phone shot, mirror a portrait, or straighten a scan — all in your browser, with no upload, and across as many files as you want at once.

Rotate image features

  • 01

    Quarter turns + fine angle

Pick 90°, 180°, or 270° for the common cases, then nudge the result by a few degrees with the fine-angle slider for tiny corrections.

  • 02

    Flip horizontal or vertical

Mirror the image left-to-right or top-to-bottom in the same step. Combine with rotation to get any orientation you need.

  • 03

    Batch rotation

Drop a folder of photos and rotate them all with the same settings. Download each one or grab the whole batch as a single ZIP.

Rotate image FAQ

How do I rotate an image?
Drop your image files, pick 90°, 180°, or 270°, optionally add a fine angle or flip, then click Rotate. The output is downloadable straight from the result panel.
Will rotating an image lose quality?
Rotating by 90°, 180°, or 270° is lossless — the pixels are simply rearranged. Custom angles use a high-quality rotation, with quality also depending on the chosen output format.
Can I rotate multiple images at once?
Yes. The rotator is fully batch-capable: drop as many files as you like and they will all be rotated with the same settings.
Can I flip an image without rotating it?
Yes. Set the rotation to 0° and turn on flip horizontal or vertical.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. The rotator uses your browser's Canvas API — your photos are processed locally and never leave your device.
