Privacy Policy
Handytool is built around one principle: your files are yours. Most tools process everything locally in your browser — nothing leaves your device.
Browser-only processing
The majority of Handytool's tools run entirely in your browser using JavaScript, WebAssembly, and native browser APIs such as the HTML5 Canvas API. When you use these tools, your files are never transmitted to any server. They are loaded into your device's memory, processed, and saved back to your device.
Tools that use AI providers
A small number of tools — clearly labelled on their page — rely on AI models hosted by third-party providers. When you use one of these tools, the file or text you supply is sent to that provider for processing and is subject to that provider's own privacy policy. These tools are always marked before you upload anything.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage — which tools are popular and how visitors find the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and may collect your IP address and browser information. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on or an ad-blocking extension.
Data storage
Handytool does not store, log, or retain any file you process. No account is required, and we do not hold any personal data. The only data retained is anonymous, aggregated analytics.
