About the SVG to PNG

Convert SVG to PNG in your browser with pixel-perfect, high-resolution output. Upload a .svg file or paste raw SVG code, then rasterize it at 1x, 2x, or 4x scale — or type exact width and height. Keep the background transparent or fill it with any color, and export as PNG, JPG, or WebP. Because the SVG is re-sized before rasterizing, edges stay crisp even at 4x, and everything runs locally with no upload.

SVG to PNG features

  • 01

Upload a file or paste code

Two input modes: drop in an .svg file, or paste SVG markup straight from your editor. SVGs that only declare a viewBox (no width/height) are handled automatically.

  • 02

    Exact size or clean multiples

Choose 1x, 2x, or 4x for retina-ready exports, or set precise pixel dimensions with an optional aspect-ratio lock. The vector is rendered at the target size for sharp results.

  • 03

    Transparent or solid, three formats

Keep transparency for PNG and WebP, or drop in a background color. Export PNG for lossless graphics, or JPG/WebP with an adjustable quality slider.

SVG to PNG FAQ

How do I convert an SVG to PNG?
Upload your .svg file or paste the SVG code, choose a scale or exact dimensions and a background, then click Convert. Download the PNG when it appears.
Will the PNG look blurry when I scale it up?
No. The SVG is re-rendered at the exact output size rather than stretched, so 2x and 4x exports stay crisp — that is the advantage of converting from a vector source.
My SVG has no width or height. Will it still work?
Yes. When width and height are missing, the tool reads the viewBox to determine the drawing's proportions and dimensions.
Can I keep a transparent background?
Yes, for PNG and WebP. Choose the transparent option. JPG has no transparency, so a solid background (white by default) is applied automatically.
Is my SVG uploaded to a server?
No. The conversion happens entirely in your browser, so your artwork and code never leave your device.
