About the Crop Video

Crop Video reframes any clip to the shape each platform wants — 9:16 for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, 1:1 for the feed, 4:5 for portrait posts, or back to 16:9. Fill the new frame with a blurred version of your video, solid color bars, or crop in to fill edge to edge, with a live preview of every option. It all runs locally in your browser with WebAssembly FFmpeg, so your footage stays private.

Crop Video FAQ

How do I turn a landscape video into a vertical one?
Choose the 9:16 ratio and a fill mode. Blurred or Color keeps your whole frame with a background filling the rest; Crop zooms in to fill the vertical frame.
What is the blurred background option?
It places your video centered and sharp over a zoomed, blurred copy of itself, so the new frame is filled without black bars — the look used across Reels and TikTok.
Will reframing crop out part of my video?
Only the Crop fill mode trims the edges. Blurred and Color keep your entire frame visible and add background around it.
Which aspect ratios are available?
9:16 (1080×1920), 4:5 (1080×1350), 1:1 (1080×1080), 4:3 (1440×1080) and 16:9 (1920×1080).
Is my video uploaded anywhere?
No. All processing happens locally in your browser with WebAssembly FFmpeg, so the file stays on your device.
