Wheel spinner

Spin a colorful wheel of names to pick a random winner.

8 entries

Add 2 to 100 names, prizes or options — one per line.

The winning segment is chosen with your browser's secure random source. Your list stays on your device.

About the Wheel spinner

Type a list of names, prizes or options and spin the wheel to pick a random winner. The wheel spinner draws a bright, colorful segment for each entry and lands with a smooth, decelerating animation and a celebratory flourish. Use it for classroom picks, giveaways, chores, 'who pays' decisions or any moment you need a fair choice. It works with 2 to 100 entries, remembers nothing, and runs entirely in your browser.

Wheel spinner features

  • 01

    Smooth 60fps wheel

A canvas-drawn wheel spins with realistic easing and deceleration, then confetti bursts on the winner. Optional sound is off by default. Click the wheel or the Spin button to go.

  • 02

    Edit, shuffle & remove winners

Paste your entries one per line — from 2 up to 100. Shuffle the order, and turn on 'remove winner after spin' to run tournament-style eliminations without editing the list by hand.

  • 03

    Fair and private by design

Each spin lands on a segment chosen by the Web Crypto API, so every entry has an equal chance. Nothing is uploaded — your list and results stay on your device.

Wheel spinner FAQ

How does the wheel spinner pick a winner?
Before the animation starts, a winning segment is chosen using your browser's cryptographic random source, then the wheel spins to land on it. Every entry has exactly the same odds.
How many names can I put on the wheel?
Anywhere from 2 to 100 entries. The segment labels shrink automatically as you add more so the wheel stays readable.
Can I remove a name after it wins?
Yes. Turn on 'remove winner after spin' and each winner is dropped from the list automatically — handy for drawing multiple prizes or running eliminations.
Is there a sound when the wheel stops?
There is an optional sound effect, but it is switched off by default. Toggle 'Sound' on if you want an audible cue when the wheel lands.
Does the wheel spinner work offline?
Yes. Once the page has loaded it runs completely in your browser with no server calls, so it keeps working without an internet connection.
