What is Lorem ipsum?
Lorem ipsum is scrambled Latin-looking placeholder text that has been used by typographers and designers since the 1500s. It lets you preview a layout without distracting readers with real copy.
Can I use Lorem ipsum in production?
It's intended for mockups and previews — not real product copy. Replace it before launch, otherwise readers and search engines will see the placeholder text.
Why does my output look the same after regenerating?
When you start with the canonical "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet…" opening, the first sentence is fixed. The rest of the paragraph regenerates each time you click the Regenerate button.
Is the text really random?
It samples from a fixed Latin-looking word list using a deterministic seeded shuffle, so you can keep regenerating until you get a paragraph length you like, but the words themselves carry no meaning.
