About the Signature maker

Handytool's signature maker lets you draw your signature with a mouse, stylus or finger and download it as a transparent PNG or clean SVG. Pick an ink color, a brush size and a transparent or white background, then sign — no account, no watermark, nothing uploaded. The result drops straight into contracts, PDFs, Word documents or email footers.

Signature maker features

  • 01

    Draw naturally on any device

Works with mouse, trackpad, stylus and touch. A quadratic-curve renderer smooths out your strokes so signatures look like ink on paper, not jagged pixels.

  • 02

    Transparent PNG or vector SVG

Export a PNG with a transparent background for pasting on any color, or an SVG that scales to any size without losing sharpness — perfect for printable contracts and high-resolution displays.

  • 03

    Private by design

Your signature is drawn locally with the HTML5 Canvas API. Nothing is sent to a server — not the image, not the strokes, not a hash. Close the tab and the signature is gone unless you downloaded it.

Signature maker FAQ

How do I create an electronic signature online?
Draw your signature inside the canvas using your mouse, trackpad, stylus or finger. When you're happy with it, click Download PNG (transparent) or Download SVG (vector). That file is your electronic signature, ready to paste into documents.
Is the signature background transparent?
Yes. PNG exports use a transparent background by default, so the signature blends onto any color in your document. Switch to white background if you specifically need a boxed signature on a white rectangle.
Can I use this signature on legal documents?
For informal documents (emails, internal PDFs, many contracts) a drawn signature is widely accepted as an electronic signature. For documents that require qualified e-signatures by law, use a regulated e-signature provider. Handytool is intended for everyday use.
Can I sign on a phone or tablet?
Yes. The canvas supports touch and stylus input, so you can sign with your finger on a phone or tablet and download the result to your device.
Is my signature uploaded anywhere?
No. The signature is drawn and saved entirely on your device. Handytool never sees, stores or transmits the image you create.
Is the signature maker free?
Yes. There is no fee, no account required, no per-signature limit and no watermark on the output.
