About the Glitch Text Generator

The glitch text generator creates chaotic, corrupted-looking zalgo text — the creepy, glitchy style you see in Discord names, horror memes, edgy usernames and cursed posts. What is zalgo / glitch text?
Zalgo text stacks lots of Unicode combining marks onto normal letters so they look glitched, corrupted or 'cursed', with marks spilling above and below the line. This tool builds it for you and lets you choose how intense it is.
How do I make my glitch text more or less intense?
Use the mini / normal / maxi control. Mini adds just a few marks for a subtle effect, normal is a balanced glitch, and maxi piles on marks for maximum chaos. The preview updates instantly.
Does glitch text work in Discord and usernames?
Yes, in most places. Discord messages and many username fields accept the combining marks. Some sites limit how tall text can be or strip extra marks, so very heavy 'maxi' glitch may be trimmed — drop to normal or mini if it gets cut.
Why does the glitch look different each time I type?
The marks are placed with a bit of randomness so no two glitches look identical. Whatever is on screen is exactly what gets copied, so copy once you're happy with the look.
