მთავარი მიღებული
- 01JPG is much smaller than PNG for photos and screenshots without sharp text.
- 02Conversion happens locally, so screenshots and personal images stay on your device.
- 03A solid background color replaces PNG transparency when exporting to JPG.
Why convert PNG to JPG?
PNG keeps every pixel exactly, which is great for line art and clean screenshots but heavy for photos. A 6 MB PNG photo can shrink to a few hundred KB as a JPG with no visible quality difference.
JPG is also accepted by every form, every platform, and every legacy tool, which makes it the right pick when the destination is unknown.
How to convert PNG to JPG
Drop the PNGs, pick a quality level, and download the JPGs.
- 01
Open the PNG to JPG tool
Go to Handytool's PNG to JPG tool and drop your PNG images.
- 02
Pick a quality level
80% is a great default. Lower values shrink more but introduce visible artifacts.
- 03
Choose the background color
Because JPG cannot store transparency, transparent areas become a solid color — usually white.
- 04
Download the JPGs
Save individual files or grab the batch as a ZIP. The PNGs are untouched.
PNG to JPG FAQ
Are PNGs uploaded to convert them?
No. Handytool runs the conversion in your browser, so files stay on your device.
Will text in the screenshot stay readable?
At 80%+ quality, screenshots remain clearly readable. At lower quality you may see fuzzing around small text.
Why is the result not as small as I hoped?
Screenshots with lots of flat color compress well as PNG already. JPG conversion gains the most on photographic PNGs.
Can I convert many PNGs at once?
Yes. Drop a batch and the tool will produce a ZIP of JPGs.
