How do I cross out text to copy and paste?

Type your text, copy the strikethrough style from the top of the list, and paste it wherever you need crossed-out text. The line is added with combining characters, so it stays put after pasting.

How is this different from Discord's strikethrough?

Discord and WhatsApp add strikethrough with markdown (~~text~~) that only works inside those apps. This tool bakes the line into the characters themselves, so it works everywhere — including Instagram, bios and forms that don't support markdown.

Can I underline text too?

Yes. Along with strikethrough the picker includes single underline, double underline and overline, all built the same combining-mark way so they copy and paste anywhere.

Why does the line look slightly uneven in some apps?

Because the strike is a separate combining mark, a few fonts position it a little differently, so the line can shift by a pixel or render with small gaps. It stays readable, but if one app looks off, try the slash or underline variant.
