How do I generate a random number between 1 and 100?

Set the minimum to 1 and the maximum to 100, leave the count at 1, and press Generate. You can also tap the '1-100' preset chip to do it in one click.

Can it generate unique random numbers with no repeats?

Yes. Turn on the 'unique' toggle and every number in the batch will be different. This is perfect for lottery draws, raffles and picking distinct positions. The count can't exceed the size of your range when unique is on.

Is this random number generator actually random?

It uses the browser's cryptographically secure random source (crypto.getRandomValues) with unbiased rejection sampling, which is far more random than the standard Math.random() used by most websites.

Can I generate negative random numbers?

Yes. Enter a negative minimum (for example -50 to 50) and the generator handles the full range, including zero and negative values.

Are my numbers sent anywhere?

No. The tool runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, stored or logged — close the tab and the numbers are gone.
