Reverse text flips any text three ways: character by character ("hello" → "olleh"), word order within each line, or the order of the lines themselves. Unlike naive reversers, it uses Unicode grapheme segmentation so emoji, flags, and accented letters stay intact instead of splitting into broken symbols. How do I write text backwards?
Paste your text and choose the "Characters" mode. Each line is reversed character by character so it reads backwards, ready to copy.
What's the difference between reversing words and characters?
Reversing characters flips every letter ("the cat" → "tac eht"). Reversing words keeps each word spelled correctly but reverses their order ("the cat" → "cat the").
Will emoji and accented letters break?
No. The tool reverses whole grapheme clusters, so multi-codepoint emoji and letters with combining accents stay intact rather than turning into stray symbols.
Can I reverse the order of lines?
Yes. Pick "Lines" mode to flip the list top-to-bottom — the last line becomes the first and so on.
Is my text private?
Yes. Reversal happens in your browser and your text is never sent to a server.
